This book is effing amazing.  It pays all due respect to Austen, and still manages to be hilarious.  LOVE.

    The Last Nice Thing

Every once in awhile, relationships hit a rut...you get in a routine, you go about your day and sometimes "sparks" are traded for the day-in and day-out monotony of living.  So, let's think about the last nice thing that was done for you!  No fair listing what you've done for others--I get it, you all are saints, just like me--I want to know the last time you got the warm-fuzzies because of what someone has done for YOU.

What is the last nice thing your partner/crush/significant other/buddy/Real Doll did for you?

Well its not exactly my partner/crush/significant other/buddy/Real Doll .....

But in the last few months, my friends have all meshed together and become friends themselves.

It makes me smile so proudly to know that FINALLY I have friends who value each other and those we have in common.

When I was younger I always had a lot of friends, but no one ever got along. Always had to keep my friends seperate in fear they might kill each other. (this lasted into my 20's)

I've always said, My friends are my chosen family. Now its really feeling like a family.
so ya, I'm all friggin warm and fuzzy on the inside, smiles beaming like I'm up to no good.

Love it! Love them! It's BLISS!

The last nice thing the husband did for me was to let me relax on the beach while he took the boy to play in the lake. (=

Honey is on vacay with his parents while I finish up the thesis (I was supposed to join them, but things got backed up and I had to stay, boo). Anyways, he called me to get the address of the Hard Rock Cafe at the city where they're at so he could get me a guitar pin. I collect them so it was a nice little detail of him to do that. He's also getting me little gifts from each city they're at so when he shows me the pics of his trips I'll have a little reminder :-).

Made me a mixed tape. A little cheesy, but was still pretty cute.
